Description:
Once upon a time, in a kingdom where fairy tales were real and happily-ever-after was expected, Prince Charming hosted a lavish masquerade ball to celebrate a hard-won peace among the fairy tale realms. The grand royal palace sparkled with candlelight and glamour as familiar characters from every corner of storybook legend arrived in their finest gowns, capes, and enchanted accessories.
The mood was festive, but beneath the laughter and music lurks tension. Whispers ripple through the ballroom, rumors of secret affairs, broken promises, and dangerous ambitions. Some guests raise a glass in toast, while others raise an eyebrow in suspicion.
Just as the clock strikes midnight, the ballroom lights flicker. A sudden chill falls over the room, and darkness. A scream pierces the silence.
When the lights return, all eyes turn to the grand staircase.
At the top, lies Prince Charming, dead.
A glass slipper, shattered and jagged, protruding from his chest.
Panic erupts. The doors are sealed. No one may leave. Somewhere in this room, the killer is still among us.

Death Becomes Zeus
It was meant to be a night of divine celebration. High above the mortal world, the Gods of Olympus gathered for a night of festivities and feasting. The air crackled with power and pride as immortal beings, radiant, and ruthless descended upon the mountaintop for a grand feast hosted in celebration of the union of Aphrodite and Hephaestus. Ambrosia flowed like wine, and laughter echoed through marble halls. But as the hours passed, the throne at the head of the table remained empty. Whispers replaced revelry. Where was Zeus? A ripple of unease spread among the Gods. At last, Hermes was sent to fetch the missing king. But when the fleet-footed messenger returned, it was not with Zeus... but with the terrible truth. Zeus was dead. Struck down in his private chamber before the feast had even begun. No thunder. No warning. Only silence. Shock turned to suspicion. After all, who among them would kill a God? And more importantly... who among them could? Only a select few could have carried out such a divine betrayal. Was it Hera, the long-suffering wife with a crown but no control? Demeter, still furious at her daughter’s abduction? Aphrodite, denied her freedom or Ares, denied his love? Hades rules the underworld but may want more than what lies below. Or was it Poseidon, forever second to the sky? As the skies darken and thunder mourns its fallen master, one truth becomes clear: Even Gods can die.

Our suspects have gathered to celebrate an especially important anniversary at the estate, 50 years; under Jane’s reign. In her usual style, she had been especially tough on her staff. The decorations must be perfect, the grounds manicured, dinner delightful, every surface of the manor shining.
She spared no expense and allowed no breaks until everything was completely perfect. Some would have said that she pushed her staff to the edge, others would argue she pushed them past it.
Wealthy matriarch Jane Groveland is dead.
Few mourn her, and more than one is excited at the prospect of getting paid. Some are owed, some are expectant, all could be guilty. Found in her estate’s vast garden late this evening, she appeared to have taken a fatal fall. Was it a simple karmic collapse, or did something more gregarious happen in the garden?
Whispers ripple through the halls. Jane was cruel to her staff, buried in debt, and left behind two children;
One with plenty of resentment and another with desperate financial needs. Staff was owed, debts were due, and pride had been pushed to its breaking point.
Meet our crew of suspects, pick through their excuses and lies and uncover the truth!
